Further Update on Slow Posting

September 10, 2010

It’s been more than just the start of school. I have new hosting for the blog set up in anticipation of moving, and since I’m planning to switch I’ve been holding off on posting. It’s taking longer than I intended, though, so you’ll start seeing stuff here again — possibly today, but definitely by tomorrow.

Back to College

August 21, 2010

My update count has fallen off a bit lately. This is mostly because I’m preparing to return to Fairbanks for college this semester. I’ll be leaving town on the 28th, and will probably take a day or two to settle in at the dorms once I get there; until then, expect few updates… though I’ll try to get at least one or two in.

I mean, it’s not like I haven’t been up to anything, after all. I made a bodacious hula hoop and took pictures of a bunch of flyers and stuff I brought back with me from Japan before throwing them away.

Sims 3 Legacy Challenge Scorecard Spreadsheet Link Fix

July 8, 2010

Someone was kind enough to let me know that my Sims 3 Legacy Challenge Scorecard Spreadsheet download link was in fail mode. Since I can’t figure out what the problem is, I’ve moved hosting for the spreadsheet to 4shared. (Edit: There’s a new version.) My apologies to anyone who’s been frustrated by the busted link.

Out of Town for a Wedding

July 1, 2010

Well, I meant to post another Bright Green Gaijin Pants entry on Tuesday night, before I left town. I forgot to finish it up, though, and since all that really remains is adding photos back into it and those photos are on my PC at home… that’s not happening until I get back.

I’m in Juneau for a friend’s wedding, which is going down tomorrow. It’s going to be a Catholic wedding, at a Catholic chapel outside of Juneau proper. We (Ash, Patti, and I)  were exploring the area this evening for the fun of it and came across the location, so we decided to check it out in case we don’t have time tomorrow. The place is gorgeous! More on that later, too; I forgot my camera when we went on our jaunt because Objective One was fast food.

If I have time tomorrow morning, I’ll post something about Canadian road signs (we drove instead of flying), but otherwise there will be no updates until Sunday night or sometime on Monday.

Have a good fourth of July, whether the date means something to you or not. It feels weird not to be throwing candy out of a fire truck this year.

Moved

January 30, 2010

Moving is complete and I’ve settled into my schoolwork. Updates will start happening fairly regularly again soon. I’ve already had one request for the next segment of my series on Making the Best Use of Recount, so that’s at the top of my list.
